2Slow, ponderous, vampire, zombie slug of a program

By Roger in Fort Worth
Slow!!! With my earlier version of QuickBooks Pro my computer was peppy and lively when opening, running and closing that earlier version. Now, with QuickBooks Pro 2015, a millstone has been tied to my processor whenever 2015 is open. 2015 takes forever to start. In fact, in my initial times to use the program I "started" 2015 several times while 2015 was still opening because 2015 was taking so long to open I thought I must not have clicked the mouse correctly to start the program, so I tried to open it again. Now I just "start" 2015 and then go make a pot of coffee or read "War and Peace" or detail my car and figure 2015 will be up and running about the time I finish those tasks. When I'm working in 2015 and I point and click a command, I always get the little blue spinning circle next to the pointer indicating Windows is taking a while to process the command because 2015 is so ponderous. If you're trying to work in another program with 2015 open, the vampire that is 2015 is draining the speed of every other program. QuickBooks Pro 2015 also is like one of those zombies in a movie; it won't die. Closing 2015 is a slow, agonizing process and when you think its closed, you find the little blue circle still spinning and spinning and spinning. Also, Intuit REALLY wants you to use Intuit Sync Manager and WILL NOT let you remove that command from your start-up menu and, if you close Intuit Sync Manager, 2015 replaces the Intuit Sync Manager on your toolbar every time you open 2015 despite your instructions that you don't want to use Intuit Syn Manager.

If I didn't already have all years and years of data in QuickBooks, I'd try to find something different. Now I realize that I just need to budget the price of a brand new, state-of-the-art computer into the cost of a new version of QuickBooks. I've never been nostalgic about an earlier version of a program but QuickBooks Pro 2015 makes me long for that older, quicker, livelier QuickBooks.

1Intuit is just aweful

By Bobby
Just like other Intuit software, its bloated and glitchy during install. Had to call Intuit to get a verification code for the install. Of course, if you have ever had to call Intuit, be prepared to stay on the phone all day. It's a horrible feeling knowing that you can't get by another way and have to actually call them. At least 15 min on the phone grid choosing options and just about every option says there is an extended hold time today (everyday). I remember lots of IT/software companies were like this a while back but most have cleaned up their act. I dont think there is another company out there with worse customer support today. Must be nice to have the corner on the market. I really hope someone comes up with another viable option to Intuit products.

I didn't buy it but my company bought it for me from Amazon. Wow. This is just a Crap. There are so many bugs especially with bank statement feed.
If you think that quickbooks with online bank feed can save your time and effort of write-up, you are wrong.
It cannot even read qbo file correctly so every time you read statement you have to manually check if there is any missing transaction, which results in more wasted time. I believe even college student can write a better software than this. Just stay away from this crap.
