Success via good planning with good software

I am doing a major renovation and from past experience know the importance of having a good plan. This has been an ongoing project. Over the years I have used other software to do design. Since I was planning a major renovation I felt it was time to get the latest and best. In web reviews Chief Architect seemed to come out on top. In the past I used 3 D Home Architect (2001 software). I could bring these files into the Chief Architect Home Suite which gave me options. I used Punch (2005 software) and felt the older 3D Home Architect was better. After trying Chief Architect's demo version I soon purchase the Home Designer Suite. Like any software, especially software with allot of power and versatility there is a learning curve. The online help videos and reference manuals were very helpful. In a short time I was able to model an as built replica of my house which formed the basis for my renovation. The as built looks like my house. Once done I was able to model and visualize various renovation options from which to make decisions and share with friends to get suggestions. The software is easier to use and more versatile than other software I have tired. I give the software 5 stars. My advise if you have a major project -take the time to put together a good plan and the time to learn the Chief Architect software to take advantage of its power and versatility.

Unfortunate Version Limitations

There is a lot to like about this software, but there are significant disappointments as well. Creating a floor plan is fairly straightforward and the software is reasonably capable. Some things are a challenge, like which direction a pocket door slides, however. And there are some major limitations in this version, including fixture selections, fireplace layout, roof types and slopes, and especially an open beam ceiling. To match up to reality, you would need the expensive ($500) version unless you had plain vanilla everything-- and therein lies my biggest disappointment. For all of the capabilities shown on the website, what is not revealed is that you need the expensive model to do most of the things shown. The ability to look through a 3-D version of what you created is very cool; however, the inability to create what I wanted (because of version limitations) prevented me from making my intended use of the software and seeing my proposed changes-- And for not much more than $500 (for the capable version) I can pay someone else to do what I want and save the time and effort. I returned it.

Nice application

I'm not an architect by any means and I don't have any previous experience with CAD, but I was hoping to find a software application that I could use to start putting together a somewhat cohesive plan for the builders to use on my next home. Sort of a brain dump to get all my conceptual ideas on a computer screen so I (and eventually the builders) could visualize what I want, and potentially identify any design flaws and address them in the planning stage. I researched the various software options and compared the advertised functionality, then decided to take a chance with Home Designer 2016. They have an extensive knowledge base, impressive collection of training videos and webinars, a very helpful user forum, step-by-step tutorials, an in-depth reference guide, and if you still can't find exactly what you are looking for through all of these help functions you are encouraged to contact Customer Service directly. And yes, there is a training curve as you might expect with any application that can do as much as this one does. In fact, to be quite honest I initially had a love/hate relationship with it as I was fumbling my way through my initial tutorial. The first time I decided to check out the 3-D view and the glasshouse view, I found that my car and all the cool cabinets and garage stuff had seemingly dropped through the floor into the foundation (entirely my own error, and now corrected). I kept pushing through and within a couple of days I started to get the hang of it. Then I found it to be so much fun it was almost addictive, moving walls/doors/windows, adding rooms, building my dream kitchen, customizing a walk-in closet, furnishing and accessorizing the living room - it has a huge library of items you can add to interiors/exteriors. It also has a feature called Plan Check which you can use to see any potential errors as you are working on your plan. I'm very happy with both the application, and the responsiveness and professionalism of Customer Service on the two occasions I've contacted them (so far).

Best gut-healing supplement I have found

The Glutangenics L-Glutamine/DGL/Aloe Vera powder is the best gut-healing supplement I have found. In Jan 2012, I decided to end my 20 year stint on PPIs (acid reflux medicine) and quit cold turkey. (Just because it was ok for me to do this doesn't mean it will be ok for you! Please consult your doctor.) I was overweight, sick and suffered from constant acid reflux symptoms even on the PPIs. I tried every home remedy. I went gluten free. But it wasn't until I found the glutagenics powder that I started to be free of reflux symptoms. It's expensive but it is worth it. I take it as directed. I'm on my second container of it and I only suffer from mild acid reflux from time to time. I also believe that this product, along with diet (paleo) has eradicated my IBS symptoms. I've lost 44 pounds, and I have a new lease on life.

Great for digestive health

I have Crohn's disease and was on this supplement for about a year while I was really sick. I had previously had acid reflux for years. It went away after just one day on the product. Never had it since. When I had to have part of my small bowel removed, the surgeon was shocked that only a small section was diseased. He was expecting to cut out a lot more and put me on a bag. That didn't happen. I credit it to being on this supplement. I really do think I could have been a lot worse without it. Now that I'm in remission, I still take it. Great product.

make sure it's sold my Metagenics

Metagenics Glutagenics has L-glutamine prescribed for healing the inside of the digestive tract. Make sure then that when you buy this product it is indeed Metagenics'.I bought this product through Amazon but sold by vitadepot. When I opened the jar, the color of the powder was white, not tan. Initially got this product from my Naturapath so I knew the white color was wrong. I emailed Vitadepot and asked about the source of this product but got no answer. Amazon quickly refunded me the price and I returned the product to them. Now I will only buy a healthcare product on Amazon if it's both sold and fulflled by Amazon. I subsequently went to the pharmacy and bought the same product and yes the color was still tan.

This is the message you must write in the text-

Now let me tell you why this would work...By sending this message, you are doing everything that would persuade them to desire you once again. You are indirectly telling them-

"You don't need them anymore" - This would seriously bother them as you have just told them that they don't have you anymore. 

Which would create massive feeling of loss within them...This will make them want you more than ever before.

"You are telling them that you have already moved on" - They would think how could you be over it so fast all of a sudden?

"You are telling them that the breakup didn't bother you that much" - The fact that it didn't bother you that much will bother them...They would find it hard to swallow the fact that you got over them so fast.

"By telling them that something wonderful recently happened in your life they would fear that maybe you already found someone else" - This will trigger their fear of loss to unbearable levels....And at the same time the fear that you have found someone else will emotionally push them to know more and more.

The Next Very Important Step...Read Carefully. Now you will see magic unfold right in front of your eyes...I want you to listen very closely here...The guy/girl who was trying to avoid you all this time will literally be begging to have your attention after this point on...

After you have sent the above mentioned message...Your ex will probably call you or send you a message to know the rest...

In this case tell them that you have something important to say and would like to get on the phone...To which your ex cannot really refuse since he/she is already jumping up and down with curiosity to know the rest of the message.

Once you are on the phone with them...Make small conversation and then tell them that you have something really important you would like them to know...And then hesitate!

At this your ex would probably force you...But hesitate a bit more & then say...Sorry...I don't think I should tell you...I gotta go! And then hang up! That’s it...no more and no less!

Don't drag it...Keep it short and hang up.

Now do you know what you have done? Well...surprise surprise!

Before your ex was just curious but now he/she would be burning with a compelling desire to know what you really wanted to tell them.

They would find it hard to relax and get over the fact that you had something to say but never said it...And why would this work? Well humans have a tendency to desire what they can't have...And that desire turns into a burning obsession with time.

There is another great saying which goes..."Keep them hungry and they will keep coming back".

Therefore now you have made your ex extremely hungry and he/she will keep coming back for more until you satisfy their hunger.

I am sure you are real excited by now... But wait...Let me strongly warn you here.

This trick will work surprisingly well for you...BUT... Doing this does not mean things will be smooth from this point on.

Slow, ponderous, vampire, zombie slug of a program

Slow!!! With my earlier version of QuickBooks Pro my computer was peppy and lively when opening, running and closing that earlier version. Now, with QuickBooks Pro 2015, a millstone has been tied to my processor whenever 2015 is open. 2015 takes forever to start. In fact, in my initial times to use the program I "started" 2015 several times while 2015 was still opening because 2015 was taking so long to open I thought I must not have clicked the mouse correctly to start the program, so I tried to open it again. Now I just "start" 2015 and then go make a pot of coffee or read "War and Peace" or detail my car and figure 2015 will be up and running about the time I finish those tasks. When I'm working in 2015 and I point and click a command, I always get the little blue spinning circle next to the pointer indicating Windows is taking a while to process the command because 2015 is so ponderous. If you're trying to work in another program with 2015 open, the vampire that is 2015 is draining the speed of every other program. QuickBooks Pro 2015 also is like one of those zombies in a movie; it won't die. Closing 2015 is a slow, agonizing process and when you think its closed, you find the little blue circle still spinning and spinning and spinning. Also, Intuit REALLY wants you to use Intuit Sync Manager and WILL NOT let you remove that command from your start-up menu and, if you close Intuit Sync Manager, 2015 replaces the Intuit Sync Manager on your toolbar every time you open 2015 despite your instructions that you don't want to use Intuit Syn Manager.
